Social work is a colegio-regulated profession in Spain: to use the title and practise, a university degree (Grado en Trabajo Social) and registration (colegiación) with a Colegio Oficial de Trabajo Social are generally required. Colegios offer and encourage continuing education (courses, jornadas), but there is no national legal requirement to complete a fixed number of CPD hours to maintain registration; membership is maintained by dues and good standing under the colegio's statutes and deontological code. CPD is therefore voluntary/professional-development oriented rather than a hard renewal condition.

Psychological/therapeutic counseling activity is legally channelled through the regulated psychology professions (Psicólogo General Sanitario or Psicólogo Especialista en Psicología Clínica). Autonomous-community carrera-profesional schemes and voluntary EuroPsy renewal (roughly every 7 years, evidence of ongoing practice/CPD) may impose CPD-style expectations, but there is no nationwide legal periodic hour requirement to keep the PGS title.

'Marriage and Family Therapist' does not exist as a separate licensed profession; systemic/family therapy (terapia familiar/sistémica) is a specialization practised within the regulated psychology (or medicine/psychiatry) professions. Training and society memberships (e.g., FEATF - Federacion Espanola de Asociaciones de Terapia Familiar) are voluntary. Because there is no statutory license, there is no statutory CPD hour requirement.

CPDNot a regulated profession in Spain. Applied Behavior Analysis / behavior analysis is not a legally recognized or licensed profession, and there is no Spanish governing board or protected title. BCBA is a voluntary private certification issued by the U.S.-based BACB; any CPD/recertification (continuing education units) attaches to that private credential, not to Spanish law. Spain imposes no statutory CPD requirement because the profession is unregulated domestically.
