BCBA (national BACB certification; no separate Florida state license)
32hours / 2-year renewal cycle
No live / interactive hours required — all hours may be self-study

  • Ethics — 4 hminimum 4 ethics CEUs per 2-year recertification cycle

Board notes: Florida does NOT license or state-certify behavior analysts; the legacy Florida Behavior Analysis Certification Program was transferred to the BACB in October 2003. There is no Florida-specific CE rule, so continuing education is governed solely by the national BACB recertification standard (32 CEUs per 2-year cycle, including >=4 ethics and >=3 supervision CEUs for supervisors). Florida Medicaid/APD require BACB certification for reimbursement.
