• Ethics — 3 h

Home study: Maximum 15 independent/self-study (home study) hours per 2-year period; live and interactive webinars are treated as face-to-face, not counted against the self-study cap.

Board notes: 30 CE hours per 2-year cycle apply to all levels (LSW, LMSW, LCSW). Renews biennially by the last day of the licensee's birth month. No live/synchronous hours are separately mandated. The Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board (Arkansas Dept. of Health) audits a percentage of renewals.

Board notes: Arkansas registers (rather than separately licenses) behavior analysts under the Behavior Analyst Registration Act (Act 432, 2025), administered by the Arkansas Psychology Board, and imposes no additional state CE beyond national BCBA certification maintenance. CE therefore equals the BACB standard: 32 CEUs per 2-year recertification cycle, including 4 ethics and 3 supervision CEUs (supervision required only for those who supervise). No live/synchronous hours are mandated.
