Psychologues in France follow a CPD-based model rather than a fixed hour total. France does NOT statutorily mandate periodic continuing professional development (CPD) for psychologists. The title 'psychologue' is legally protected under Article 44 of Loi n. 85-772 du 25 juillet 1985 and requires a Master (Bac+5) in psychology plus a professional internship; holders must register their diploma and obtain an ADELI number (now transitioning to the RPPS shared health-professional register).
