Only actual engagement time counts (no travel or meal time). No banking/carry-forward of hours beyond 40 in a year. No mandated subject topics or specific ethics-hour requirement, though practice is framed around reflective learning goals; SASW offers Indigenous-learning resources but does not mandate hours. Regulated under The Social Workers Act.
