How many CPD hours does a Counselor need in Poland?
Counselors in Poland follow a CPD-based model rather than a fixed hour total. NOT REGULATED. Poland has no licensed generic 'counselor' mental-health profession and therefore no statutory CPD requirement. Psychological counselling is delivered by psychologists (see the Psychology record) or by psychotherapists. Psychotherapy is itself not among the five license groups here and, as of July 2026, is largely governed by private training-society certification standards and by public-payer (NFZ) staffing rules rather than a dedicated individual statutory licence with a mandated CPD quota (a separate psychotherapy-profession bill has been discussed but is not an in-force licensing/CPD scheme). Career counselling (doradca zawodowy) exists as an occupation but is not a mental/behavioral-health licence and carries no statutory CPD hours.
Are there required CE topics for Counselor in Poland?
Poland does not mandate specific CE subjects for Counselor beyond the general requirement — any board-approved continuing education generally counts. Always confirm with the regulator.
Can Counselor CE be completed online in Poland?
Generally yes — Poland does not require live or interactive hours for Counselor, so approved online / home-study CE can typically satisfy the requirement.
What else should Counselor renewals know in Poland?
No regulator, no licence, no CPD framework. Included only to record that the Counseling group has no regulated Polish equivalent.
