Regulator: No statutory regulator. Counselling has no dedicated profession Act and is not listed as a Profession Complementary to Medicine under the Health Care Professions Act (Cap. 464, Third Schedule). Represented by the voluntary Malta Association for the Counselling Profession (MACP).
CPDNOT statutorily regulated in Malta as of July 2026. There is no Counselling Profession Act, no warrant system for counsellors, and counselling does not appear in the Third Schedule (Professions Complementary to Medicine) of the Health Care Professions Act (Cap. 464).
