Home study: Not more than 10 hours may be earned through asynchronous online education, distance learning or home study; not less than 5 hours must be in-person or synchronous online education with opportunities for live interaction.

Board notes: Regulated by the CT Department of Public Health on a 12-month (annual) registration period of 15 hours. First-time renewal applicants are exempt from CE until the next registration period.
