Yes. Nevada requires the following CE topics for LBA: Ethics (BACB requirement) (4 h); Supervision (BACB requirement) (3 h); Evidence-based suicide prevention and awareness (Nevada add-on) (2 h).
Can LBA CE be completed online in Nevada?
Generally yes — Nevada does not require live or interactive hours for LBA, so approved online / home-study CE can typically satisfy the requirement. Home-study note: No state cap. BACB permits recorded/online (e-learning) CEUs; NAC 641D adds no live/interactive minimum..
What else should LBA renewals know in Nevada?
Behavior analysts are licensed by the Nevada Applied Behavior Analysis Board under NAC Chapter 641D (a dedicated board, nvababoard.org) - NOT the Board of Psychological Examiners. NAC 641D.090 adopts the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) continuing-education publication by reference (new editions auto-adopted unless the board disapproves within 60 days), so the hour count follows the BACB standard: 32 CEUs per 2-yr recertification cycle including 4 ethics CEUs, plus 3 supervision CEUs for those with supervisor status. NAC 641D additionally requires at least 2 hours of instruction on evidence-based suicide prevention and awareness for both the Licensed Behavior Analyst and the Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst; the rule states this instruction may be completed as part of the BACB-prescribed continuing education 'if practicable', so it is not necessarily additive - the effective floor is 32 CEUs of which at least 2 hrs must be suicide-prevention content (not the 34 hrs previously recorded). Biennial renewal. No state live/interactive requirement and no state home-study cap beyond BACB rules.
