Working with State-Dependent Memory through Hypnotherapy

The understanding of State-Dependent Memory clarifies the task of recalling traumatic memory, so it can be healed and transformed into normal memory. This frees trauma victims from experiencing it in the eternal now. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy  facilitates this healing, as well as the residual damage to the core-beliefs and behavioral decisions experienced within the traumatic situation.

Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal Psychology and Self-transcendence

In this presentation, we will explore how traditional age-regression hypnosis combines with Transpersonal Psychology and Therapy which welcome the imminent and transcendent dimensions of human experience: exceptional human functioning and achievements, the nature and meaning of deep spiritual and mystical experiences,  non-ordinary states of consciousness, and how to develop our highest potentials as human beings. Self-transcendence is the expansion of our self-boundaries to connect with dimensions beyond the typically discernible world. This signals a direct appeal to one’s soul to awaken and engage, a fundamental aspect of Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy®.

The Subtleties of Trauma Spectrum Disorders and Helping America’s Returning Warriors Regain their Mastery and Control with Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy

Indeed, an estimated 10-20 percent of returning soldiers will have PTSD. What about the other 80-90 percent? What are their experiences and are those experiences clinically relevant or indicative of psychosocial problems? By using intimate stories drawn from real cases and COL Yarvis’ own war-time experiences, we will explore the challenges associated with caring for warriors and their families. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is presented as an intimate, yet potent evidenced-based therapy that can outperform and/or deepen the impact of other evidenced-based trauma-informed interventions.
