The Wellness Institute, provider number 1581, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The Wellness Institute maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 5/30/22-5/30/25. Social workers completing this course receive 4 clinical continuing education credits.

Diane Zimberoff, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, specializing in trauma resolution and the use of altered states of consciousness for healing and spiritual growth. David Hartman, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in trauma resolution and the use of altered states of consciousness for healing and spiritual growth. David and Diane founded The Wellness Institute to train mental health professionals in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, a highly effective and unique clinical model. With over 35 years of education experience and thousands of graduates in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the United States, The Wellness Institute is one of the oldest and most respected providers of hypnotherapy and hypnosis training.
Charla E. Adams, JD, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, attorney, author, and host of the Brugmansia Podcast. She is the owner of Brugmansia Counseling Group PLLC and specializes in trauma resolution, identity repair, and subconscious healing through hypnotherapy.
Sarah Keramati, PhD., is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Dallas, Texas, with a strong body-centered approach to healing. She specializes in supporting individuals and couples working through trauma, addiction, and relational challenges, helping them reconnect with their somatic and spiritual resources as pathways to deeper self-care and transformation. Sarah holds three master’s degrees in fields related to psychology, spirituality, and human development, reflecting her deep commitment to integrative and lifelong learning. She draws from a wide range of experiential and relational modalities, including training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and NARM.
Rachel Hipp, LMSW, is a holistic psychotherapist and founder of Heart In Balance PLLC in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With warmth and deep presence, Rachel supports individuals in healing through trauma-informed, heart-centered care. Her work integrates Polyvagal Theory, somatic practices, and mind-body wisdom to guide clients back to inner safety and connection. She offers Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, Brainspotting, breath therapy, and group transformational workshops—all rooted in the belief that healing happens when we come home to ourselves with compassion and curiosity.
Melissa Jennings, LCSW-R, ACHT, is a shamanic psychotherapist, theologian, educator, subtle energy scientist, and professional drummer. She blends heart-centered hypnotherapy, breathwork, and rhythm with interspiritual wisdom, guiding sacred transformation through frequency healing, mysticism, and the body’s innate capacity for healing and integration.
Judi Vitale, MA, CTC, CA, ACHT is a Transpersonal Life Coach and Teacher for The Wellness Institute. Her deep understanding of and experience with heart-centered therapies has allowed her to develop a practice that integrates a variety of modalities and accelerates the process of her clients’ healing. Having lived much of her life in New York City, Judi now resides in Pittsburgh, PA, from where she teaches the Six Day, Internship, and PTI Leadership Training programs online.
COL (US Army, retired) Jeffrey “Jeff” S. Yarvis, PhD is currently an expert and executive leader coach to the Veterans Health Administration High Reliability Organization Support Team and Senior Professor of Practice at the Tulane University School of Social Work. He is a 35-year veteran, awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Action Badge. He is a leader in student/soldier affairs, executive medicine, clinician, life-long educator, and highly published social work and military scholar in the field of psychological trauma. COL Yarvis is proud to announce the publication of his new book with Oxford University Press "Combat Social Work: Applying the Lessons of War to the Realities of the Human Services" with world renowned authors Drs. Charles Figley & Bruce Thyer. COL Yarvis published evidentiary support for Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy in a military setting in 2008.
