Emily Varon is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a dedicated focus on sleep-related behaviors. She has worked in the field of behavior analysis since 2000 and has devoted her practice to improving the sleep habits of children, adolescents, and adults since 2010. Emily takes the complicated issue of pervasive sleep problems and helps others achieve optimal sleep. Her focus on sustainability of sleep habits by making small but significant changes offers consumers of all ages systems to easily improve the quality and quantity of sleep for themselves and those they care for. Emily resides in Irvine, California with her husband and two teens. Improving the quality of life for persons struggling with sleep has been a passion of hers for over 13 years.

Jodie E. Gerson, PsyD is a psychologist at the Department of Health (DOH) Family Court Liaison Branch (FCLB) at Hawai‘i Youth Correctional Facility and Detention Home (HYCF) working with court-involved youth. She is also the Executive Director of the Hawai‘i Pro Bono Mental Health Center. Dr. Gerson received her Doctor of Psychology at the Hawai’i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu, a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix, a Masters of Arts in Community Clinical Psychology from the University of New Haven, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Roger Williams University. She was awarded the Outstanding Graduate in Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Chaminade University and the Outstanding Student in Psychology from the Hawai‘i Psychological Association. Dr. Gerson has served on many committees and boards, including the Hawai‘i Psychological Association- student representative, child and adolescent committee, diversity committee, and convention committee; American Psychological Association - student representation; American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS). Dr. Gerson is a Certified Expert Trauma Professional and Child Maltreatment. She has worked in the field for over 25 years, focusing on court-involved youth and foster care. Dr. Gerson enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, scuba diving, cycling, running, and swimming in her free time.

Kathleen Bailey Stengel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She currently serves as CEO of NeurAbilities, a health care organization, where she is charged with increasing clinical outcomes by implementing an interdisciplinary model of intervention including neurology, neuropsychology, behavior analysis, speech and language and occupational therapy services. She maintains a unique skill set in providing high quality care through standardized and replicable intervention models. In addition, Ms. Stengel is skilled in OBM and ensures that systems are implemented from the hiring and training of staff to budget development and long-range planning to ensure that clinical outcomes are maximized.

Dr. Lawrie Ignacio is a licensed clinical psychologist in Hawaii and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in English Literature from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She received her Master's degree (M.A.) in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. In 2004, she earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Hawaii. Dr. Ignacio has taught courses as an Adjunct Professor at Hawai’i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University in Honolulu and the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Dr. Ignacio resides in Honolulu where she maintains a full-time private practice. Her professional interests and activities include couple therapy, co-therapy, trauma-based psychotherapy, psychodynamic and existential psychotherapy, clinical personality assessment, and the teaching of psychology.

Hawai'i Pro Bono Mental Health Center
Dr. Raymond Folen is the Executive Director of the Hawai‘i Psychological Association. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Hawai‘i and worked at Tripler Army Medical Center (the U.S. Army’s tertiary military medical center responsible for over 50% of the Earth’s surface) for 32 years, first as Chief of the Behavioral Medicine Service and then as Chief of the Department of Psychology with a staff of 150. At Tripler, Dr. Folen developed and implemented a number of original behavioral health projects and was able to secure over $16M in special project funds. He was one of the early DoD psychologists to prescribe medications, prescribing several thousand medication orders without a single adverse incident.
Dr. Folen served as President and Chair of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists from 2013-2018. Following his retirement from the Department of Defense in 2016, he was selected to be the Executive Director for the Hawai‘i Psychological Association, a position he has held since that time. Dr. Folen currently serves as Past Chair of the Council of Executives of State and Provincial Psychological Associations.
Dr. Folen is the author or co-author of over 65peer-reviewed professional publications in national and international journals and he has presented more than 140 peer-reviewed papers at state, national and international conferences. He has taught over 20 different courses at the graduate level. Dr. Folen is the recipient of numerous awards to include the HPA Lifetime Achievement Award, the U.S. Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the Excellence in Federal Government Award for Federal Supervisor/Manager of the Year. Dr.Folen is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and was designated a ‘Distinguished Practitioner’ by the National Academies of Practice.

Project Reclaim of Louisiana
RonAnderson is the the Executive Director of Project Reclaim of Louisiana, Inc.,which operates a juvenile delinquency prevention-based Youth Leadership Academyprogram for youth, including the Afterschool Program, and parent training andparental involvement activities for parents and guardians, and OptimalPotential Life Skills classes for youth and adults in the court system. Since1990, he has been a Certified Parenting Instructor through the Center for theImprovement of Child Caring.
RonAnderson also directs the operations of Ron Anderson, L.L.C., through which heprovides consulting services, staffing training, public speaking and workshops on personal and team development.
He previously served as Director of The LightHouse for fifteen years. TheLightHouse provided after-school programs, workplace training and job placementservices, parenting and leadership training, and mentoring and scoutingprograms for individuals and families throughout northwest Louisiana. He hasalso taught and directed programs at the University level.

Psychedelic Somatic Institute
Saj Razvi is the Founder and Director of Education at Psychedelic Somatic Institute (PSI). He is a former clinical researcher in the MAPS Phase 2 trial of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. He is faculty at Synthesis and taught PTSD studies at the University of Denver, and a PhD course at the University of Copenhagen. He is one of the primary developers of the Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) modality which is a next generation, primary consciousness oriented psychotherapy. The focus of PSIP is to maximize the relational and autonomic healing capacity of psychedelic medicine to treat complex, childhood developmental trauma.
Saj's primary focus is to train clinicians to provide legal, exective psychedelic treatment in their private practice settings utilizing readily accessible medicines such as cannabis and ketamine. Shaana Berman is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience working directly with children who have autism and other conditions that impact behavior and learning. She has extensive training in early childhood special education, applied behavioral analysis, developmental assessment, curriculum design, IEPs, and training teachers to deliver effective instruction to diverse populations of students. Her current focus area is organizational behavior management in high-poverty public school districts, designing effective positive behavioral systems at the district level, high-quality professional development for teachers, parents, and other school staff as well as effective delivery of direct behavioral intervention services in public schools and BCBA supervision.

Steven Haden is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Envision:You, a Colorado-based nonprofit addressing the disproportionate burden, disparity in care, and poor outcomes that LGBTQ+ individuals encounter every day. He is also interim chief executive officer and chief strategy officer for You:Flourish, a first-of-its-kind wellness app for the LGBTQ+ community launching in the United States in spring 2023. Additionally, Steven is a mental health clinician with Queer Asterisk, a nonprofit providing comprehensive behavioral health services in communities throughout Colorado’s urban corridor. Steven is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling to a diverse caseload.
