Born and raised on Oahu, Bruce has dedicated his life to preserving and reviving traditional Hawaiian practices. He has played a pivotal role in the Polynesian Voyaging Society, contributing to the rebuilding and navigation of the legendary Hōkūleʻa canoe on its worldwide voyages. With decades of expertise in wayfinding and a deep connection to his Hawaiian heritage, Bruce has inspired countless individuals through his leadership, mentorship, and commitment to cultural sustainability.
